Meet Dr. Stavalone
Hi, I’m Dr. Stavalone
Chiropractor
Megan Stavalone, DC, CACCP has been practicing in Rochester, NY for over 10 years and is passionate helping her patients feel empowered by pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.
Dr. Stavalone is certified in perinatal chiropractic by the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association (ICPA) which gives her extensive expertise in caring for women during the prenatal and postpartum phases. She is also certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP), an intensive postgraduate certification focusing on pregnancy and pediatric care, as well as practical applications of pediatric neurology and physiology.
Dr. Stavalone has also published research on the efficacy of chiropractic care and breech babies. In October 2025, she co-authored a case report in the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health regarding the resolution of breech presentation and pelvic pain through chiropractic care.
In addition to her chiropractic work, she is a DONA-trained birth doula and a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) certified doula through The VBAC Link. She regularly holds a Pelvic Movement for Labor & Delivery class for patients and for those of the birth community to help women feel more in tune with their own bodies and to promote comfort and mobility in labor and delivery.
Dr. Stavalone has 2 young children of her own, whose births inspired her to expand her knowledge of pregnancy, birth, and lactation support.
