Our Services

Embrace your health + wellness

Our patients are our main priority. Everyone meets with our doctors one-on-one and has plenty of time to make sure their health needs are met. At your first visit, a full extensive initial exam is performed to determine if chiropractic care is beneficial for you. Then a personalized care plan is created based on your symptoms and medical history. Our doctors will answer all your questions, as well as educate you on your body and how your specific care plan will help you heal!

Chiropractic Myths

Myth: Once you start, you have to go forever.

Truth: Every care plan is personalized, and you choose how often you come. Many patients simply love how they feel and decide to continue with wellness care, but it’s always your choice.

Myth: Adjustments are painful.

Truth: Adjustments should never be painful. You may feel pressure or mild discomfort, especially if an area is tight, but most people describe the experience as relieving and gentle.

Myth: Chiropractic care is expensive.

Truth: Care is often more affordable than people expect. Many treatments average around $50–$60 per session, depending on individual needs and insurance coverage.

Myth: Chiropractic care isn’t safe.

Truth: Chiropractic is widely recognized as a safe, non-invasive, and low-risk approach to improving mobility, reducing pain, and supporting overall wellness—especially when performed by trained, licensed professionals.

Myth: Chiropractors only treat back pain.

Truth: Chiropractic care supports the whole body—nervous system, mobility, posture, pregnancy comfort, pediatric development, and more. It’s a natural way to promote full-body wellness, not just back relief.

Insurance

ANH Wellness Chiropractic PLLC currently is in-network with Excellus BCBS insurance

Unfortunately, they do not cover wellness visits. Please note that once your care plan is finished, your insurance will not cover maintenance visits. We are no longer in contract with any other insurance companies.

However, patients requesting to utilize your medical benefits will receive a detailed bill of services that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Patients are allowed to use flex spending or their health savings account (HSA) to pay for their visit costs.

Some health insurance plans don’t cover maintenance chiropractic care because many health insurance companies don’t see maintenance care as medically necessary.

Why don’t they consider it medically necessary? That’s a question only insurers can address. They likely prefer to pay for treatments that help people recover from an illness, injury, or other situation. They don’t want to pay for treatments after someone hits a plateau and stops showing signs of improvement. That’s a common reason why few health plans cover maintenance chiropractic care.

Don’t assume that’s true of your plan, though. Before you schedule anything, review your plan and see if it says anything about chiropractor visits. If it doesn’t, contact the insurance company and ask for clarity. And don’t just ask if your policy covers this type of care,  but when how much, and for how long as well.
