Hey mama,

We’ve Got Your Back

Seeing a chiropractor during pregnancy can feel intimidating—but it doesn’t have to be. At ANH Wellness, we take a gentle, patient-first approach and clearly explain what to expect at every step. Our doctors are certified in the Webster Technique and prioritize comfort, privacy, and consent throughout care. We use private treatment rooms and supportive pregnancy pillows to ensure you remain relaxed while we assess and address the sacroiliac joints, sacrum, and surrounding muscles and ligaments.

If you’re feeling nervous or have questions about chiropractic care during pregnancy, we’re always happy to schedule a call and walk through any concerns.

The Webster Technique

Webster Technique is a chiropractic technique used during pregnancy to help promote optimal pelvic function. During pregnancy, a mother’s body goes through many changes that cause increased stress on the body, including pelvic misalignment along with torsion and tightening of specific pelvic muscles and ligaments. The resulting tense muscles and ligaments and their effect on the uterus can prevent the baby from assuming the best possible position for birth. Seeing a chiropractor can be intimidating, especially during pregnancy. Let us ease some of those nerves by explaining what to expect. We take a very gentle approach to chiropractic and fully explain each step of the Webster Technique. There are specific muscles and ligaments known to become tense during pregnancy.

This technique provides chiropractors with a gentle and effective way to restore pelvic function, allowing the associated muscles and ligaments to relax, and for the uterus to be in the most optimal position for the baby’s growth.  Webster Technique decreases many discomforts associated with pregnancy, encourages ideal alignment, and assists in decreasing complications in the birthing process.

Our pediatric care is as gentle as it is intentional

We understand many parents feel unsure about chiropractic care for their children, which is why we take time to listen, educate, and move at a pace that feels comfortable. Babies and children often respond quickly, and many parents feel relief in finally understanding the root of their concerns.

At your first visit, we’ll review pregnancy, labor, and delivery history, along with your child’s sleep, feeding, digestion, movement, and daily habits. Often, things that feel “normal” can still be improved to help both parents and children feel more comfortable and supported. Our doctors are passionate about making care positive, engaging, and stress-free—many of our youngest patients even look forward to their visits.

If you have questions about chiropractic care for your child, we’d love to connect and talk through your concerns.
