Our bodies deal with stress on a daily basis and Chiropractic care can support the body's own natural ability to heal
Chiropractic adjustment, or spinal manipulation, is the most common therapeutic procedure performed by chiropractors! This treatment helps restores joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become restricted in their movement as a result of tissue injury. Tissue injury, whether from a single event or repetitive stress, causes the tissue to undergo chemical and physical changes that can include inflammation, pain, and diminished mobility and function. Restored mobility, through adjustment, can alleviate pain and muscle tightness assisting in tissue repair! Chiropractic care may be the primary method of treatment or be used to complement and support traditional medical treatment, depending on the nature and cause of the condition. Doctors of Chiropractic may assess patients through clinical examination, laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostics to determine when, how, and where chiropractic treatment is appropriate. Additionally, routine treatment can assist in the prevention and maintenance of overall health.
At ANH Wellness, we have a very gentle approach
We like to make sure our patients are educated and fully understand how their individualized care plan is going to help them heal and function properly. Patient education is a very important part of our practice. We also include myofascial work into most of our treatments if it's appropriate. Increasing blood flow and nerve flow is important to help the body function optimally. Some patients are concerned about adjusting, but with different modalities at ANH Wellness, we are able to restore joint mobility in a way that is more comfortable for the patient and still provides a therapeutic healing response.
Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) go through a minimum of 4,200 hours of classroom, lab, and clinical internships during their 4-year doctoral graduate school program. All 32 NFL teams have their own chiropractor to boost performance, maintain wellness and treat musculoskeletal strain and injury. Each day, over one million adjustments take place across the globe – that’s a lot of relief.
