What Is Cupping Therapy?

Cupping therapy uses controlled suction to lift the skin and underlying tissue, creating negative pressure that decompresses muscles and fascia. This approach differs from traditional massage by working from the outside in, targeting deeper tissue tension without direct pressure.

How Cupping Supports the Body

Cupping helps increase localized circulation, promote lymphatic movement, and reduce muscular tightness. It can relieve chronic tension, improve mobility, decrease inflammation, and support overall tissue health. Temporary circular marks may appear after treatment due to increased blood flow; these are not bruises and typically resolve within a few days.

Cupping can be received as a focused standalone session or added to other treatments, such as massage or lymphatic drainage, to enhance overall results and support faster recovery.
