Licensed Massage Therapist
Throughout her life, Amanda has been dedicated to assisting with the health and wellness of others, in a variety of professional atmospheres. Earning a Bachelors of Science in Sociology, gave her a strong research background and the ability to view wellness through a holistic lens.
In 2010, after working through the lows of perinatal depression, and the highs of an empowering natural birth, Amanda felt called to support women, and their families, as a DONA trained birth and postpartum doula. She is passionate about normalizing the range of emotions mothers experience, and spreading awareness of the options available to birthing women.
During her birth work, Amanda became intrigued by the impact that human touch has on the body, and decided to further develop her skills as a massage therapist. She graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in December 2018, and has participated in a number of continuing education workshops pertaining to the perinatal experience.
Amanda is an Aquarian INFP. She spends her free time hiking with her dog, Luna, and playing with her daughter, Sia. She enjoys appreciating and creating art in a variety of forms.
