Meet the Team
Doctor Alyssa N. Hickey is the founder of ANH Wellness. She is a graduate from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Hickey has always had a passion for helping people, which first sparked her interest in chiropractic while she was in high school. She began shadowing local chiropractors and decided to continue her education at King’s College in Wilkes Barre PA where she received her bachelors in biology and minor in neuroscience. While at King’s she continued helping people by becoming an active member of AmeriCorps, organizing and participating in various volunteer activities. Alyssa was also very active among her schools community, she was a representative for her graduating class, president of biology club and secretary of the neuroscience club. Once her journey was complete at Kings College she moved to Seneca Falls NY and attended New York Chiropractic College. Shortly into her education she began to have increased enthusiasm for learning more about women’s health specifically in treating pregnant women and children. Alyssa gained further education on her interest by submerging herself in related courses, clubs and seminars including, Pediatric radiology, Pregnancy and Pediatric Nutrition, Women’s Health care Issues, Clinical Pediatrics Chiropractic Care and is a member of the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association. She also obtained her certification in Webster technique, a technique of diversified adjustments to reduce the effects of sacral and SI dysfunction to improve neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis. Her goal is to educate mothers in the proper functions of their bodies during pregnancy and the importance of optimal alignment, for maintaining natural and healthy movements promoting happy mothers and healthy babies.
Dr. Morphet is a Rochester native and excited to be practicing back near her hometown. She obtained her undergraduate degree at The College At Brockport in Exercise Science: this is where her interest in helping growing families heal first sparked. She then went on for her graduate degree at the New York Chiropractic College. During her education, Dr. Morphet worked in a variety of clinical settings in order to enhance her treatments for all ages. Her passion for working with women and children was furthered when she became a member of the pediatric club. Dr. Morphet was chosen as the Rochester Veteran’s Association student clerk, working with some of Rochester’s most complex patients. Dr. Morphet excelled at eleviating some of the pain these patients felt on a daily basis. During her time at the VA she worked on honing in on her diagnostic and clinical skills that are applicable for all ages. Dr. Morphet is excited to continue her lifelong education and is currently taking the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association seminar series in order to enhance her pregnancy and pediatric techniques and treatments. In addition to the certification series, Dr. Morphet is also Webster certified, further bettering her treatment approach with pregnant patients. She is also currently getting a masters in applied clinical nutrition and is very passionate about helping her patients become the all-around healthiest they can be.
